My Journey as an Author
Hi all! Thank you so much for your interest in me and my writing!
I started writing erotica on one of the main websites dedicated to publishing works from amateur authors. I got a lot of positive feedback, and several people encouraged me to expand my horizons. My self-publishing experiment started in August of 2025 with zero fanfare and only slightly higher than zero sales.😄
My aspirations as an author are not high. I just enjoy knowing that others are reading something I wrote and, hopefully, getting very turned on by it.
Who Is Jenna Bloom?
I write a lot about BDSM relationships, mostly in a soft way. While there might be the occasional spanking, bondage, or clips, I, personally, don’t like a lot of pain, so my characters won’t either. My interest is much more in the psychological aspects of domination and submission. My personal life is more tame than the situations in my stories, but I am in a relationship with an amazing woman who has graciously taken on the role of Mistress for me. The sex in my writing is mostly from my own experience, although there are a few bucket list items thrown in. I would call myself a monogamous slut. For my Mistress, I’m her slut and will do anything she wants, but only for her.
I am a huge proponent of consensual interactions, so in my writing, you will almost never find situations where anyone is forced or blackmailed or coerced into a sexual relationship. That doesn’t mean that characters won’t have had things like that happen to them in the past, which colors their personality. For instance, Nyx, one of the main characters in my Seductive Takeover series (not yet published), has had a severe past that has shaped her psyche in a significant way, and that becomes a central element in the plot. However, you will not find non-consensual acts in my stories. Reluctance and seduction, very much so, but no non-con.
Other kinks you will NOT find are bestiality, underage, blood, true masochism, fury, scat, or watersports. Those are all big turn-offs for me. You also won’t find much, if any, hetero sex. Maybe in the future I might try writing something along those lines, but it’s not my experience and not something that interests me.
Mostly, I just want people to feel the excitement that my characters feel when they make contact with their true nature, whether that be submissive, dominant, or anything else along the way. I truly believe that sex happens mostly in the mind. So pick up one of my stories and let me touch your most erogenous zone.
